What?

The CFC MOPS Consignment Sale is a one stop shopping place for all your children's needs!  We have everything from children's gently-used clothing (size infant to size pre-teen seasonal clothing); toys; baby & child equipment; baby & child furniture; children's books, games, videos; maternity clothing.  

Where and When?

The CFC MOPS Consignment Sale takes place each spring and fall.  The Fall 2010 MOPS Consignment Sale date is Saturday, October 2 at Sanders Corner Elementary School in Ashburn, VA. 

Why?

The sale is a semi-annual fundraiser for CFC MOPS. Proceeds fund resources for MOPS moms, meeting costs, the MOPPETS children's program, leadership training, and costs of running the sale.  Funds also support CFC MOPS designated charities and allow MOPS moms to participate in a fall and spring service project. We hope to benefit the community by selling inexpensive, good quality children's items; to benefit consignors by providing a convenient way to consign their items; and to reach mother's of preschoolers with information about MOPS. How can I get involved?

There are five ways to participate in the CFC MOPS SALE:

Shop – Please come shop the day of the sale.  And bring a friend along!

Donate Items - Individuals can donate items to CFC MOPS for the sale.  We prefer large items, such as furniture, but will also accept most other items. 100% of the proceeds will go to support CFC MOPS.  Email the Sale Coordinator for more information, or to arrange a time to drop-off your donations. 

Consign Only - Individuals that consign only receive 50% of the sales price for each item sold.  The administrative fee of $5 is deducted after the percentage is calculated.

Volunteer Only - Individuals that volunteer 3 hours of their time are invited to shop the pre-sale starting at 6:15 am on the morning of the sale.  Shifts are available for before the sale, the Friday and Saturday of the sale weekend, and following the sale.

Consign and Volunteer - Individuals that consign and volunteer receive 70% of the sales price for each item sold.  The consignment fee of $5 is deducted after the percentage is calculated.  Volunteers are invited to shop the pre-sale starting at 6:15 am on the morning of the sale.
