Tag Fee Policy
Correct tags are so important - shoppers look at them, taggers remove them, tag sorters and data entry process them!
TAG FEE POLICY... Our policy concerning tags is as follows: For consignors that have tags that do not follow our guidelines, a minimum fine of $3 for up to the first 50 items sold will be deducted from the consignor payment. Should you sell more than 50 items, a fee of .03 cents for each additional tag will be deducted from your final payment. For example, if you sell a total of 150 items, you will be assessed the minimum fee of $3 plus $3 (100 X ..03) for each tag above 50. Your total Tag Fee would be $6. This fee of .03 cents per tag will be multiplied by the total number of tags above 50 - NOT by the individual tags that are incorrect.
By and large, all of our consignors do a wonderful job of preparing tags, but we needed a more fair and consistent way to assess a fee for those tags that do not meet our guidelines. Rather than a flat fee, basing it on the number of tags that are incorrect or difficult to sort should serve as a fair solution. Tag guidelines include not only how tags are prepared, but also how they are attached to items. (refer to Preparing Items for Sale)
