Global Outreach

“The thief comes only to steal and destroy;  I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  --John 10:10

Global Outreach is responsible for taking the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ to locations outside of the U.S.  We believe that all should have the opportunity to experience the “life to the full” that Jesus spoke of and to spend eternity with God.  We endeavor to accomplish this through identifying and partnering with dynamic, Christ-centered, ministry leaders and indigenous Pastors.   As part of this mission we seek to engage our people in the great commission through sending short-term missions teams to support our partners.  In recent years God has been directing CFC to become more and more focused in its Global Outreach efforts.  Being more focused allows us to offer our partners deeper relationships, which includes regular communication, visitation, prayer, and financial support.

During the next several years, our primary focus will be our church-to-church partnership with La Iglesia Cristiana Verbo in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua.  This church is located in the North Atlantic Autonomous Region and is primarily inhabited by Miskito Indians and African descent “Creoles.”  Verbo is led by Pastor Earl Bowie who is a native of Puerto Cabezas.

Through our partnership we will attack the 5 global giants of spiritual lostness, self-serving leaders, abject poverty, pandemic disease, and inadequate education (from Rick Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. plan).  The antidotes to these global giants are to:

Plant churches/Promote reconciliation

Equip leaders

Assist the poor

Care for the sick

Educate the next generation

By focusing on one community at a time with this holistic model we believe that God’s church can bring true life and community transformation.  For further description follow this link:

.  Though our church partnership with Verbo is our primary focus, we continue supporting many missionaries in other countries through prayer, communication, visitation and project support.

Inviting people into God’s Kingdom and making it real to them through how we love and serve them was Jesus’ mission.  We believe that continuing Jesus’ life mission is a necessary part of your journey to becoming Christ-centered.
