Donations
The Donations Volunteer collects any donations from the area and tags the items for sale in advance. This could include receiving items from people who have offered to donate, or watching Craiglist, FreeCycle and such places for free items, which are then picked up by the volunteer. See section on Preparing Items and Pricing for guidelines. The volunteer also drops off the donations during Drop Off the day before the Sale.
We prefer that you focus on items that will sell for $5 or more, including DVDs, bikes, large toys, furniture, etc. Please collect at least $50 worth of items and make sure to check in with the Sale Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator during drop off to receive credit for your shift.
