The purpose of CFC Sports & Recreation is to be a ministry that builds fellowship among the membership, to help reach the unsaved and connect them to the church, to improve the physical, mental, and spiritual health of an individual, to provide unity among families and a family-friendly atmosphere, and, most of all, to bring glory to God. We offer Fall Women’s Basketball, Winter Co-ed Volleyball, Winter Men’s Basketball and Spring Co-ed Softball. Click on the image to find out more about registration.
The CFC Co-Ed Softball League is an all inclusive sport. We have moms, dad, sons and daughters from 16 years of age and up participating in a fun wholesome gathering. We play 7 competitive but friendly innings of softball, beginning and ending with prayer. Our league runs from March to July ending with playoffs and an All Star game. Our goal is to delight GOD in our words and behaviors and spread the WORD to those who don't know Christ by being real Christians.
The CFC Co-Ed Volleyball league is a fun, fellowship league for players of all abilities. We have spaces for experienced players as well as beginners and intermediate players. And although it is competitive, the emphasis is on fellowship and safety. We play on Monday nights beginning mid-January and running through May with 1-hour matches starting at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00p.
The CFC Men's Basketball League is an annual Christ-centered recreational program. We provide an opportunity for men to fellowship through athletics while bringing men to Christ through basketball. The league currently adopts a 12 team, 9 players/team format and features halftime devotionals, opening game prayers, an 11 game regular season, playoffs, a 3-point shooting contest, and all-star game. All games are played on Saturdays at the CFC gym in Ashburn, VA. The schedule runs from late January through mid-May.
